Things You Didn’t Know Existed Here - Part 1
All things considered, I’m not exactly a big fan of fast food restaurants, but my current state of bachelorhood, combined with my night owl tendencies that can sometimes result in putting off dinner until late in the evening mean that I probably end up eating a lot more of it than I should. Since the majority of what’s available on the Eastside consists of the usual national megachains, it’s always nice to find something a bit different. Recently I found out that there’s a Carl’s Jr. out in Covington, on 272nd just off of Highway 18:

Note that it’s a bit hidden behind stuff (it’s on the south side of the road) and you might not see it right away. Look for the Arby’s, and it’s the building just before it. And while I’m on the subject, I might as well throw in a plug for tesg’s Guide to Big Chain Road Food Consumption, a site with a big list of various fast food places you may or may not have nearby, complete with brief histories of each.
Now if only we could get someone to open up a Sonic around here…
