Yes, Marketing can be Truly Taxing at Times

As far as Blogs go, this one is a relatively small one that doesn’t get all that much traffic.  Thus it can come as a bit of a surprise at times to see who happens to be reading it.  In response to a post I made a couple of days ago regarding a marketing e-mail from H&R Block, the marketing director for their Digital Tax Solutions group posted a comment indicating that they have taken this into consideration.  To be honest, I’m not even sure how he even found this (if I’d have to guess, it was probably through Technorati or another similar site that aggregates Blog postings) but it’s a good way to tell who’s listening out there, and even on a relatively small Blog such as this one, you’d be surprised at times who ends up reading your stuff.  I should also point out that I have used their TaxCut Online website to do my taxes for a number of years now, and find it to be a whole lot more convenient (and possibly a bit less “creative”) than trying to figure out all this stuff on my own. 

And Mr. Lundberg, if you still happen to be reading this, at least you can take comfort in the fact that you weren’t the person who was responsible for this banner ad that I saw earlier tonight:

 I don’t even know where to start with this one.  I don’t think even Matthew Lesko woiuld go there…
